Wet brushing: the right way to comb curly hair

Curly hair NEVER should be combed dry - it breaks and damages the curls. The right technique (wet brushing) is done in the shower, with hair soaked and full of rinse-out conditioner. Start from the ends and gradually move up to the roots, so the knots don't get pulled. This way, the curl maintains its natural spiral.
